I think it’s a no-brainer that ID should be required for voting. I don’t understand the argument that ID imposes a discriminatory impediment to voting. It’s required for almost every facet of life, and seems to serve only a good process in reducing fraud. This matters more than ever now, with so many tight elections and a such entrenched and highly polarized ideology that defines US culture.

This article claims that FIFTY percent of the black and Latino populating in Wisconsin will be unable to vote if ID is required! It’s impossible for me to believe this.

  • I totally agree, it is a no-brainer that if you don’t have ID you can’t vote.  Nobody complains that you can’t fly without ID, or if you get pulled over without a valid driver’s license that you’ll get a ticket.  We need to have some way to verify WHO is actually voting.
